Basic Document Requirements for a Australia Visa

1. Passport

• Employed applicants: Letter on plain paper with employer details.

5. Travel Itinerary & Accommodation

• Confirmed round-trip flight tickets.
• Hotel booking confirmation or accommodation details from the host.

6. Financial Proof

• Bank statement for the last 6 months showing sufficient funds.
• Income tax returns (ITR) for the last 3 years.
• Salary slips (if employed) or business financials (if self-employed).

7. Employment/Business Proof

• Salaried applicants: NOC from employer, salary slips, and employment letter.
• Self-employed applicants: Business registration proof, GST certificate, and financial documents.
• Students: Bonafide certificate from the educational institution.

8. Travel Insurance

• A valid travel insurance policy covering medical expenses during the stay in Australia.

9. Invitation Letter (if applicable)

• If visiting family or friends, a sponsorship/invitation letter from the host in Australia.
• Should include host’s details, applicant’s details, purpose of visit, and proof of relationship.

10. Health & Character Documents (if required)

• Medical examination reports (if requested by the embassy).
• Police clearance certificate (for long-term visas).
